Volunteering & Opportunities
Synapse frequently collaborates with other organizations and programs such as Texas BEI, Longhorn NeuroTech, and Lifelong Learning with Friends. We are proud to have many members that are active volunteers in the Austin area. Synapse also partners with the UT Department of Neuroscience to help host events such as UT Brainstorms and Hot Science, Cool Talks.
Our Social and Volunteering Committee has generously compiled a directory of volunteering opportunities for Synapse members that can be found here.

They offer year-round programs virtually and in-person at UT, UTSA, and Rice University. Volunteers can register for specific classes and participate alongside classmates. Each semester, they host classes that cover a range of topics including psychology, arts and crafts, music, science, and more!
