Synapse is the all-encompassing official undergraduate neuroscience organization at The University of Texas at Austin. Our organization is dedicated to helping students deepen their understanding of neuroscience, build community, and prepare for careers in research, medicine, industry, and related fields. We host faculty talks, student-led journal clubs, professional development events, and social programming for students interested in neuroscience and healthcare.
Synapse welcomes students of all majors and backgrounds! We aim to cultivate a welcoming space in which students find social belonging and academic guidance at UT. Opportunities for volunteering and leadership are provided through committee membership and our partnership with programs such as Lifelong Learning with Friends.
